Take control of your next temperature measurement or control project. R3actor combines a thermocouple or RTD front end with an Arduino compatible core to create a complete measurement solution in a compact package. Record data using the built in SD card reader or take advantage our free R3aktor Control Center PC software to record, playback and view live data.
Each R3aktor ships with full featured firmware, ready for use out of the box. Measure four temperature sensors, or up to eight by adding a thermocouple or RTD shield - also supported by the built-in firmware. Log data to an SD card using the integrated slot, or stream live data to a PC using the USB connection. For remote installations, R3aktor even includes an integrated Li-Po battery charger and support circuitry to allow battery powered use in the field.
Our premium R3aktor Control Center application makes setup and data acquisition quick and easy. R3aktor Control Center provides live data monitoring, data recording, and offline data analysis. View data logs captured on a PC or recorded by the R3aktor itself on its integrated SD card.
R3aktor Control Center also makes configuration a breeze. Simply connect a compatible R3aktor to a PC through USB, then use R3aktor Control Center to configure thermocouple/RTD type, sampling rate, filtering options, and additional thermocouple/RTD shields.
R3aktor is a complete, self-contained RTD and thermocouple solution. True, type-specific mini thermocouple connectors minimize cold-junction error when accuracy matters most. These connectors feature true J, K, and T-type calibrated contact alloys which introduce less measurement error than copper or beryllium copper contacts used on cheaper alternatives.
When flexibility is key, R3aktor is available with generic PUSH-IN connectors that allow a single board measure any combination of K, J, N, R, S, T, E, or B thermocouples.
RTD measurement is no challenge with the FDQ-30002 variant and the SEN-30203 shields. Measure sensors with two, three, or four wire (Kelvin) connections. Optimized hardware is available for PT100 and PT1000 resistive temperature sensors, or log sensor resistance directly for alternative calibration curves.
One size does not fit all. R3aktor allows you the freedom to customize your hardware and to develop your own firmware. Use any Arduino compatible IDE to write custom logic then program the R3aktor using the USB connection. We provide an open-source board support package and thermocouple/RTD libraries to get you moving fast.
